As a co-founder of Lyon & Bogdanov, Jon counsels executives, founders, key employees, and businesses on sensitive trade secret and related business matters, providing strategic guidance to mitigate risk and vigorously advocating for clients in high-stakes litigation when disputes escalate.
He is well-versed in title insurance coverage and real estate litigation, areas of law that frequently intersect. He regularly represents property owners, developers, lenders, and title insurers in disputes involving title insurance coverage, title defects, easements, boundary lines, and other complex real property issues. Drawing on his appellate background, Jon frequently handles appeals, defending favorable trial court results and working to secure reversals whenever necessary.

Prior to co-founding Lyon & Bogdanov PLLC, Jon was a litigator at a premier AmLaw 100 firm and served as a judicial law clerk to Associate Chief Justice Charles W. Johnson of the Washington State Supreme Court.
